Veterinarians on Staff

Nicholas Finn, D.V.M.
Dr. Finn is the hospital director of Maumelle Animal Clinic, which he opened in November of 1984. He is a small animal practitioner and member of the American Veterinary and Arkansas Veterinary Medical Associations. Prior to opening the Maumelle Animal Clinic, he was on staff for six years at Bellevue Animal Clinic of Little Rock. He enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine, but has a special interest in veterinary endoscopy.

Dr. Finn, reared in central Arkansas, graduated in 1974 with high honors from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Animal Science degree. In 1976, he received his Masters degree in Veterinary Science, and in 1978, his Doctors degree in Veterinary Medicine from Oklahoma State University.

Dr. Finn and his wife, Marcia, attend church at the Fellowship Bible Church of Little Rock. They have three daughters: Jessica, Leah, and Sarah. They also have two dogs: Jake, a Chesapeake Retreiver, and Meg, an Austrailian Cattle Dog. In his spare time, Dr. Finn enjoys camping, whitewater kayaking/canoeing, fishing, duck hunting, taking care of his koi (Japanese carp), and water gardening.

George Williams, Jr. D.V.M.
Dr. Williams is a small animal practitioner and a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Arkansas Veterinary Medical Association, and the Memphis/Shelby County Medical Association. He enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine, but has a special interest in internal medicine.

Dr. Williams was raised in western Tennessee and graduated in 1988 from Mississippi State University with a BBA, in 1994 from Metropolitan State College of Denver with a BS in Zoology, and in 1998 from Mississippi State University with a D.V.M.

Dr. Williams' wife, Tanda, is the Legal and Human Protections Administrator for the Arkansas Children's Hospital Research Institute. They have four dachshunds named Dixie, Quincy, Ralphie, and Prissy. Dr. Williams' outside interests include golf, snow skiing, hiking, landscaping with his wife, and taking care of their four dogs.
