Each of our three clinics is a full-service hospital accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association. This means our facilities and equipment are inspected regularly to ensure that your pet receives state-of-the-art medical and surgical care. And our doctors make a commitment to their continued education, exceeding the yearly hourly requirement for license renewal. Our foremost goal is to help your friend live as long and healthy a life as possible, which scientists now confirm may reach into the late teens or twenties in some breeds of dogs and cats. Preventative medicine is the key to achieving this goal so our services are designed accordingly. Some of them include:
- Physical Exams—Since pets age much faster than we do, they should have a physical more often. A thorough medical examination twice yearly will detect changes sooner and allow more rapid treatment should problems arise.
- Annual Wellness Blood Profiles—Pets over age five should have these important blood and urine tests run annually to detect problems before they cause clinical symptoms. Baseline data should be collected before age five. In-house blood testing allows us to provide immediate results.
- Complete Surgical Facilities—including Orthopedics.
- Dental Care—Maintaining proper oral hygiene is one of the most important things you can do to keep your pet healthy. Studies now indicate that a yearly dental cleaning may extend your pet's life by 2-4 years.
- Parasite Prevention—In addition to checking your dog or cat for intestinal parasites and heartworms, we can offer you the best and latest convenient monthly preventives, including Revolution®, the new topically applied heartworm, flea, and tick preventive.
- Vaccinations
